Personal One-On-One Makeup

One on One Makeup Lesson If you already know how to apply makeup, my one-on-one lessons will help you hone your skills, or if you're a beginner, they will teach you everything you need to know! Each lesson is entirely hands-on; I'll show you how to do each process on one side of your face, then have you practice it on the other side while I give you feedback. We can concentrate on a specific technique, like a smoky eye or winged liner or perhaps a summer dewey makeup look or something dramatic, it's all up to you. We will only do one full makeup look, but you are welcome to send in a picture of one that you are aiming for. When learning how to apply makeup, knowing what instruments to use is essential. I'll go over the appropriate makeup brushes and tools for each stage to help you achieve the desired look. (With the complimentary makeup brush set, you will receive) You will leave this class understanding how to complete your full face in an easy-to-understand manner, from beginning to end. This lesson is ideal for those who are new to makeup, want to sharpen their skills, need advice on how to use products they already own, and want to know what to purchase. I strongly advise you to bring your own cosmetics so you can learn how to use it properly at home. Not certain what to bring? No issue. Following the scheduling of your meeting, I will give you a detailed list. I'll also provide you with a complimentary set of high-quality brushes as an added bonus for your session.

1-2 times per year we will offer salon Group workshops specializing in a different technique or cosmetic area. These classes are tailored more towards doing your own makeup, however, you can certainly transfer them towards doing another's makeup as well. "For your eyes only" will demonstrate eye design techniques, "Read My Lips" will teach new lip techniques such as "Ombre Lip color" and many more workshops as well but we will offer 4-5 workshops annually. Investment for group classes is $95 (2.5hrs in length)

Customized Lessons - The Private Makeup Lesson

Make a reservation for a private lesson in our makeup studio or your location now. Our lessons may be tailored to teach you whichever aspects of makeup application you are interested in learning, and each session lasts for up to two hours. We are more than pleased to walk you through the application techniques that you can use with the cosmetics and products that you already own. Additionally, we will suggest additional items that, when added to your existing makeup collection, will help take it to the next level.

The Private Makeup Lesson is the perfect way to advance your personal makeup skills, whether you are doing your own makeup for a destination wedding, want to finally master the smokey eye technique, "beautiful brows" "Ombre Lips" or just want to learn something new for day-to-day use. The lesson can be tailored to meet your specific needs and goals. We will contact you with a proposal and quote.

Our Certified Professional Makeup Artist/Licensed Cosmetologist is equipped with beauty and makeup hacks and is prepared to share a ton of fun and knowledge. While having fun with your friends, bring your personal makeup and hone your makeup skills. You will learn a full face of makeup from start to finish during this practical makeup class. Similar to a paint night, this private makeup class is organized, but you'll leave with a practical skill that you can use every day instead!

ON SITE OR IN THE STUDIO! Your makeup party can be scheduled in a studio or on-location at your house, place of business, or an Airbnb! We supply mirrors, makeup brushes, powder puffs, and a qualified professional makeup artist to lead the class.

Become a Freelance Makeup Artist with this exciting course. Taught by award-winning, professional makeup artist Wil Strayhorn , you will learn from one of the best with in-depth 1-on-1 feedback on your makeup work. Upon completion you will receive a certificate of completion and a professional photoshoot (see left image). This is designed for those who are ready to pursue a career as a makeup artist and earn extra income. This course is suitable for students with little- no previous make-up artistry experience who would like to pursue a career in make-up artistry. L.F.I is committed to continuous improvement to ensure both the design and content of the course are as relevant as possible to market needs. The Academy also places significant importance on fashion make-up which by its creative nature is constantly changing. Therefore the above course curriculum will be subject to addition and alteration from time to time. This is a 4-month course meeting once per week. Student must provide a model or one can be located for them.
